What You Told Me in 2016
The best way to start a new year is to build on the insights gained from the previous one.
In 2016, I launched the newest version of the Pocket Mentor mobile appand blog and it has successfully helped thousands of leaders grow themselves, their teams, and their businesses – one step, one day at a time.
As I listened to you in 2016, the number one question I’ve received is: how do I grow my leadership to achieve a role on a corporate or public company board? This is an elusive goal for many smart, accomplished professionals.
I realized that I could help motivated professionals break through to this higher level of leadership by drawing on my experiences as:
- an entrepreneur who started companies and recruited boards,
- an executive who reported to boards,
- a member of several public company, private enterprise, and nonprofit boards over 20 years.
So, How Can I Assist You in 2017?
My goal for 2017 is to help high achievers amplify their leadership and become board worthy and board ready. This is a significant goal, and it requires significant action.
I’ve observed that too often talented leaders and busy executives are so immersed in the demands of their work that they don’t invest in their development, and thus hinder their progress in reaching the next level of success.
Often, they, like you, need the insights of a mentor, someone who has been there and done that to help you:
