About Me

Helping high performing leaders build meaningful careers: I advise leaders and entrepreneurs who want to grow themselves, their teams, and their businesses.

I’m an entrepreneur, public company board member, advisor, and creator of the Pocket Mentor mobile app. One of my most successful businesses was webMethods, Inc. which I co-founded and helped grow to a global public company with 1,100 people and $200m in revenue.

As co-founder, President and Chairman of the webMethods Foundation, I led teams that made investments in nonprofits which helped lift thousands of low income families out of poverty through education in the Washington, DC region. We also invested in micro-enterprise in East Africa.

Currently, I serve on the boards of several public companies and enterprises overseeing $10b in assets.

I’m a regular contributor at Business Insider, Entrepreneur.com, and SUCCESS Magazine, sharing insights on leadership, entrepreneurship, communications, and personal development with millions. I’ve enjoyed being featured on top podcasts such as Entreleadership, Dose of Leadership, Conversations With Creative Women, and Mixergy.
